I've read here before that someone's dolls face started to sink in a bit and I'm a little worried about that with my Molly. I'm not sure if I am imagining things or not, but how common is this, and how could I tell if this is happening to my doll. Molly is the only one of that face shape that I have so I don't have anyone else to compare her too. Thanks everyone!

I've missed any posts about faces sinking in but I can tell you that all of my dolls arrived home the year they were first made, which means my Sam, Molly and Kirsten are all 20 years old. Hard to believe! Their faces are just fine. I don't see any change at all except perhaps, and I'm not even sure of this, a slight loss of color. They remain in excellent condition.

I've never heard of this before! None of my dolls have it....I don't think, but I'm sure it's pretty rare.

Like auri, I have really old AG dolls. None of them have had their faces sink in, and I haven't read of it happening (I've been on the board many years). Hopefully that's an unfounded rumor. The one concern to definitely have for all older dolls is silver eye, but I've never heard of the faces sinking in. I'd only worry about that maybe if they were left out in the sun laying down for a long time.
Can you post a side-view photo of your Molly? If you do, we could compare for you and see what we think.

Thanks! My husband went to Korea and I'm not sure if he took the camera, but I will try and borrow one to get a photo soon! Thanks again.
